FAQ
What makes PLEXICOAT different than other resins?
The most significant difference between PLEXICOAT and other resins is cure time. PLEXICOAT products are fully cured and traffic ready in one hour. No other flooring resin can provide this rapid cure.
What is the curing process?
PLEXICOAT is a two-component system, consisting of a liquid and a powder hardener. The hardener dissolves instantly into the liquid and servers as an initiator for the curing process. This hardener has no effect on physical properties of the cured resins; therefore, the finished products are consistent from one batch/garage to the next.
Is PLEXICOAT sensitive to temperature?
The viscosity of PLEXICOAT is much lower than other materials. This enables PLEXICOAT to penetrate into the concrete and form a superior bond. The viscosity of other flooring resins increases substantially as temperatures decrease. Temperature changes have only a minor effect on PLEXICOAT materials.
